PRO6 doubles its illegal drug accomplishments in the last five (5) months

ILOILO CITY- Guided by the 5+focused Agenda of CPNP, specifically on honest and aggressive law enforcement operations, Police Regional Office 6 has reached new heights in its anti-illegal drugs efforts under its leadership.

Data shows that from January 1, 2023 to May 23, 2023, PRO6 has confiscated a total of PhP 88,030,809.00 worth of illegal drugs. As PBGEN Villaflor sits to command PRO6 starting May 24, 2023, the data on the seized illegal drugs from June 1, 2023 to October 31, 2023 tower up to PhP 185,932,833.00, more that twice in the amount of recoveries of the preceding five (5) months.

This statistics only manifested the intention of RD, PRO6 to finish off the menace of illegal drugs in the region. As a matter of fact, as a brainchild project of PBGEN Villaflor, he endeavored to purchase 15,000 drug test kits through the Philippine Anti-Drug Strategy (PADS) Fund because of his resolve to achieve 100% drug-tested organic personnel, have a drug-free workplace and to ensure the commitment to duty and integrity of every personnel in the region. Of the more than 13,600 organic personnel drug tested, only three (3) of the total strength turned out positive. Administrative charges had already been filed against them.
