1. Aklan is the home of the Mother of all Philippine Festivals
2. Every municipalities in Aklan has each own version of their own local festivals
3. Aklanons have a big heart for the preservation of faith, cultures and traditions
4. We have a unique language that is said when pronounced properly, then you can be able to speak the rest of the languages in the Philippines
5. Aklan is the home of Philippines’ famous white beach; Boracay (and some other undiscovered tourists attraction)
6. We have a very good taste in foods and it is well presented in our local dishes
7. We may not be the powerhouse of beauty pageants in the Visayas, yet we send our highly caliber candidates in national pageants such as Miss Universe Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas, Miss Earth Philippines, Mutya ng Pilipinas, Miss Millennial and Miss World Philippines.
8. Progress never stops
9. Our current leaders are guided by the virtue of our local heroes that shed bloods for the freedom and independence of our province
10. Aklanon are strong and brave breed of Filipinos that typhoons Frank, Yolanda and Ursula never break us down
