Trillanes adhere to used intel funds of Duterte

KALIBO, Aklan- Senator Antonio Trillanes said he adhered to the statement of President Rodrigo Duterte recently that all of his intelligence fund had been used up because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Duterte said earlier that although his intelligence fund was used, both the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police still have their intelligence fund intact.

Under the Philippine laws, the intelligence funds could not be accounted for because they are considered under the national security. “It is possible that Duterte has used all of his intelligence funds because the government has spent too much to manage the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, I hope I could look up to it as to how the intel funds were used in the response to COVID,” said Trillanes, known critic of President Duterte.

Trillanes is in Aklan to meet with his supporters and fellow Magdalo comrades in Altavas, Aklan.
