To our dear fellow Kalibonhons and Aklanons,
Our family extends our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming support, love, and prayers we received following the untimely and tragic passing of our beloved father, Johnny Dayang, who was assassinated in our home in Kalibo on April 29 while quietly preparing for a momentous occasionโ€”his 90th birthday celebration, which was to be held at Marzonโ€™s on June 24, the feast of St. John the Baptist, Kaliboโ€™s patron saint.
Despite the heartbreaking loss, the warmth and solidarity shown by our community have uplifted us in ways words can hardly express.
