DSWD6 SLP recognizes top-performing staff during the STAR Awards 2025 ‎

Iloilo City- Exemplary and top-performing staff of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VI’s Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) were given recognition during the regional Gawad Sulong: SLP Top Achievers Recognition (STAR) Awards held today.
‎The Gawad Sulong: STAR Awards is an annual recognition initiative of the SLP’s Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) that honors outstanding SLP personnel from the region for their exemplary performance, dedication, and significant contributions toward achieving the goals and objectives of the program.

The activity was attended by SLP staff from the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras, and the City of Iloilo.
‎It was also graced and supported by DSWD6 OIC–Regional Director Joselito G. Estember; Concurrent Human Resource Management and Development Division (HRMDD) Chief and OIC–Assistant Regional Director for Administration Ryan Dela Gente; Promotive Services Division OIC–Chief Judith T. Barredo; and Protective Services Division OIC–Division Chief Rhea Valdellon. SLP Director Marife C. Leon also showed her support through her Executive Assistant Azalea Denise L. Aporado and Program Monitoring and Systems Section Head Carel Linao.
‎The activity, facilitated through the leadership of SLP Regional Program Coordinator Juliet D. BesaBesa, aims to inspire the SLP workforce to continue giving their best in uplifting more lives through sustainable livelihood./dswd6/cdf
