Expressing Gratitude After Boracay Volunteering

Boracay Island- This volunteer activity, conducted in collaboration with Lions Clubs International District 355-C, Lions Clubs of Masanhangdo and Haman Fortress, Dr. Park Yoon Gyu Dental Clinic, and Siyeong Medical Foundation Yeongdong Hospital and Haman Nursing Hospital, along with the Boracay Korean Association, aimed to deliver messages of hope to the children of Boracay, provide medical services, distribute educational materials to children, and engage in a nature conservation campaign to protect Boracay’s environment.

This volunteer effort goes beyond material gifts, embodying the spirit of Lions’ service to the community, fostering a healthier environment for children and conveying the spirit of volunteerism to Boracay. By collaborating with the local Boracay Korean Association, the quality of volunteering has been enhanced, highlighting the role of the Korean community in Boracay and ultimately aiding Koreans living in Boracay.

This initiative not only brings a brighter future to the children of Boracay but also offers opportunities for happiness to us all. It brings fulfillment and satisfaction to us volunteers, enriching our lives. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in this volunteer activity, especially Dr. Park Yoon Gyu and the medical team, and to all those who generously contributed their time and effort. I also express my sincere appreciation to the Boracay Korean Association, President Kim Soo Jin, Vice President Lee Jin Sun, and all the association members who supported the volunteering efforts. Your dedication, sacrifice, and love make this world a more beautiful place.
