Kress to hold the biggest national pump boat racing championship in Malay, Aklan

JGO Ventures Corp the exclusive distributor of Kress Power Products and Power Tools in the countryholds the biggest pump boat racing event in the Philippines – the Kress Cup Bancarera National Championship this December 8 to 10, 2022 in Malay, Aklan.

Around 100 pump boats (who won in the 13 regional elimination rounds) will compete in the 3 day national boat racing championship.
Kress Cup boat racing event is part of the Kress’ brand vision to help elevate boat racing image in Philippines so as to attract tourism which will generate additional income for the host city or municipality.

It will also benefit the boat and propeller makers due the sports growth potential to be recognized as one of major sea sports in an archipelagic country like Philippines.

With almost 3 years in existence in Philippine power products market, Kress is actively steering programs for the welfare of fishers and farmers. Kress, through the guidance the Department of Agriculture initiated an annual nationwide search for Kapitan Kress Bayaning Mangingisda and Magsasaka – recognizing heroic contribution of select fishers and farmers in the community, thereby inspiring fellow farmers to do the same. The champion in Malay, Aklan will receive Php 500,000 in cash and sponsorship contract with Kress. The race is expected to draw massive crowd and viewership via partner local TV (simulcast live at various social media platforms) as boat racing fans (not only in Philippines but all over the world) are already thrilled to cheer and support their respective racing teams bring home the title.
