Kress to hold the biggest ever pump boat racing event in Philippines JGO Ventures Corp., the exclusive distributor of Kress Power Products and Power Tools in the country, will hold the biggest pump boat racing event in the country – the Kress Cup Bancarera National Championship beginning January 2023.

Kress coined the prestigious event as the Race to 1 Million Pesos – the biggest prize in history ever given by a boat race organizer. With almost 3 years in existence in the Philippine power products market,

Kress is actively steering 2 major programs for the welfare of fishers and farmers. The first is the Kapitan Kress Bayaning
Mangingisda and Magsasaka Award which is geared to recognize the selfless and heroic contribution of select fishers and farmers to the country – thereby inspiring fellow farmers to do the same.

And second, (as an incentive for fishers’ contribution to the country’s food security), Kress gives pleasure and fun tob fishers through Kress Cup Bancarera National Championship. Kress believes that in taking the lead, other private institutions will also be inspired to give value to our fishers and farmers through these kind
of activities.\

In addition, the boat racing event is part of Kress’ brand vision to help elevate the boat racing image in the Philippines. It also aims to boost the tourism industry and generate additional income for the host city or municipality. It will also benefit the boat and propeller makers due to the sport’s potential to
become one of the significant sea sports in the country as there are millions of fishers in Philippine Archipelago.

In the Kress Cup 2023 series, there will be 6 regional eliminations in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao which will commence in January 2023. Winners of the elimination will compete in the National Finals in November 2023. The race is expected to draw thousands of spectators. Boat racing fans all over the
world will be watching via social media platforms to support their local teams to achieve glory and bring home the 1 Million Pesos.

Fifth Race: Luzon 1 Grand Prix, Agoo, La Union Prize: 1st 200K; 2nd 100K; 3rd 50K

Kress Cup 2023, in partnership with Bostik Philippines, Inc., host LGUs and leading brands, will be organized by Bancarera Philippines who will serve as the committee for the prestigious race, following its successful management of the 2022 Kress Cup season. Professional pump boat racing regulations will
be applied by the p emier bancarera organizer to ensure safety of racers.

Racing participants will be using Kress Nautica 17.5HP stock engine. There will be no engine  modifications allowed during the six (6) regional grand prix. This is to give opportunity to all fishers who cannot afford an expensive race engine upgrade to join the race.
