Malay town shines as top three finalists in the 2025 Philippine Tourism Awards-Municipality

The Philippine Tourism Award is the most prestigious and highest recognition in the country, honoring outstanding contributions from individuals, businesses, and local government units (LGUs). The program inspires excellence, innovation, and sustainability in the industry.

The Municipality of Malay has successfully passed the rigorous process of document submissions and multiple assessments to achieve this distinction. We are honored that Malay qualified as one of the Top 3 Finalists for Tourism Destination – Municipality, a recognition reserved for those who set the gold standard in tourism service, innovation, and sustainable practices nationwide.

We acknowledge with deep gratitude the steadfast leadership of our Local Chief Executive, Hon. Frolibar Sacapaño Bautista, whose hands-on guidance has strengthened our tourism initiatives, together with the dedication of the Office of the Municipal Tourism led by Dr. Felix G. Delos Santos Jr., Chief Tourism Operations Officer.

This milestone is a prominent reflection to the relentless commitment of the Local Government Unit of Malay in advancing the tourism industry, not only for our Municipality, but as a vital contributor and mover of Philippine tourism.
