“With this announcement, we recognize the challenges of getting started,” Umali added.

“To help support our new drivers, we are providing an initial 4,000 PHP top-up that they can use for their first bookings, fuel, and other expenses.”

The company also maintains a low 10% commission rate, giving drivers a more equitable share of their earnings compared to other ride-hailing platforms.

In the remaining months of 2025, JoyRide will announce the next schedule for its in- person onboarding in Bacolod.
