
KALIBO, Aklan – On its last Regular Session before the year ends, the 20th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Aklan approved the annual budget of the Province of Aklan for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 in the amount of ๐ฃ ๐ฏ,๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฑ,๐ฑ๐ฏ๐ฌ,๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฐ.๐ฌ๐ฌ.
With the theme: โStrengthened Health Care, Social Protection, Food Security, Sustainable Development and Disaster Resilience for One Aklan,โ the 2026 Annual Budget remains aligned with the provinceโs long term plans and annual goals in the continuous implementation of its existing economic activities, health programs, support to local industries, while maintaining support to its indigency program.

For the 2026 Annual Budget, seventy two percent (72%) or Two Billion Three Hundred Seventy Million Five Hundred Thirty Thousand One Hundred Forty Four Pesos (P 2,370,530,144.00) represents the Regular Fund Budget, and twenty eight percent (28%) or Nine Hundred Five Million Pesos (P 905,000,000.00) was allocated for the operations of the Economic Enterprise.
As for the sectoral expenditures, forty four percent (44%) was earmarked for Social Services, twenty six percent (26%) for Economic Services, and thirty percent (30%) for General Public Services.
Present during the budget signing were Governor Jose Enrique M. Miraflores, Vice Governor Dexter M. Calizo, and all the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Aklan.
Also witnessing the event were department heads of the Provincial Government of Aklan, members of the media, and employees of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Aklan.
