KALIBO, Aklan- Senator Bong Go’s relentless love for Akeanons has been once again proven, despite him being exhausted and at times risking his life in danger.
On Saturday, January 21, 2023, Go still pushed his itineraries in the province despite seeming tired of his affairs while attending the Iloilo Dinagyang. He arrived around 3:30 p.m. in Kalibo aboard his private plane and immediately proceeded to Barangay Nalook, Kalibo.
This is where he led the ground breaking ceremony for the P15 million worth of Super Health Center in the Ati-atihan town. After Nalook, he also went to Barangay Caano, Kalibo; and soon after, Numancia and Tangalan towns.
“I have since expressed my love for the Aklanons. I have been helping residents during fire tragedies and even during the COVID-19 pandemic. I will never get tired of helping Akeanons as long as I am capable of doing so,” he said during the media briefing.
After Tangalan, Senator Go still refused to rest. He proceeded to Ibajay town to attend the Ibajay Ati-atihan Fiesta.
He considered Ibajay Fiesta as a place for his devotion because he believed that it was Sto. Nino who provided him with a blessing when he won the 2018 national elections.
