Tattoo artist arrested in a buy bust ops
A tattoo artist was arrested for selling shabu in Boracay Island during the buy-bust operation launched by Malay PNP Operatives under the supervision of PLTCOL DON DICKSIE L DE DIOS, Chief of Police in coordination with the PDEA, Friday morning of July 22 at Brgy, Manocmanoc, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan.
The suspect was identified as REMBERT DEDUYO, Filipino, male, single, 37 years old, native of and present resident Sitio Lugotan, Manocmanoc, Malay, Aklan.
Seized from the suspect were plastic sachets containing suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), weight 0.20 grams, estimated worth of PHP 5,000.00, and buy-bust money worth PHP 1,000.00.
The suspect will face charges of violation of Section 5 (selling), and Section 11 (possession) under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
PLTCOL DE DIOS assures the community that the Malay PNP is serious in its mission to arrest drug dealers – from street-level pushers to high-value targets.
