Watch: Kalibo Mayor Lachica confident of winning 8K votes margin

KALIBO, Aklan- Incumbent Kalibo Mayor Emerson Lachica says he is confident of winning a whooping 8,000 votes margin against his opponent.

This was emphasized by Lachica in an interview with the Boracay Island News Network.

It could be recalled that the Random Access Consultants Inc. (RACI) earlier stated in their March 2022 survey that both Lachica and contender Provincial Board Member Juris Bautista- Sucro are statistically tied amidst their 8.3 percent margin of sampling error. “

If I could recall, I defeated my former opponent Vice Mayor Madelyn Regalado (in 2019) by around 5,000 votes. For this election, I think I will win by 8,000 more votes against Sucro,” said Lachica.

Former mayor Regalado is currently returning as a candidate for councilor under Sucro’s line up.

The election will be held in less than two weeks now by May 9, 2022.
