𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬, 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲

Malay, Aklan- The Local Government Unit of Malay, under the leadership of Hon. Frolibar S. Bautista, through the Municipal Tourism Office headed by Dr. Felix G. Delos Santos Jr., and the Tourism Product Development Division led by Mr. Rechan Casidsid, officially opened Project LNOB: Tinda Turismo and Tinda Malaynon on April 26, 2026, at the Malay Town Plaza, Poblacion, Malay, Aklan. This initiative forms part of the Municipality’s celebration of the 23rd Fiesta de Obreros.

The opening ceremony was graced by Sangguniang Bayan Members Hon. Vicky Aguirre-Salem and Hon. Mannie P. Casidsid; Hon. Ralf A. Tolosa, Liga ng mga Barangay President and Ex-Officio Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member; together with other Punong Barangays, their respective Sangguniang Barangay Members, and the Department and Unit Heads of the Local Government Unit of Malay.

A total of seventeen (17) barangays, along with the Malaynon Ati Tribal Association (MATA) and Malay College Student Entrepreneurs, are participating in the showcase, presenting a diverse array of local products and crafts that reflect the identity, culture, and unity of their respective communities.

The event was further honored by the presence of the distinguished members of the Board of Judges, namely: Dr. Kiel Patrick I. Relimbo, Dean of the College of Business and Management of Aklan Polytechnic College; Ms. Milky Torres-Carpio, Customer Service Supervisor of PCTV; and Mr. Raffy Cooper, Marketing and Sales Manager of Enchanting Mega Paraw Resort.

The showcase will run daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM until May 1, 2026, featuring a diverse selection of locally made products, delicacies, and crafts. Visitors are encouraged to drop by and support local entrepreneurs while enjoying the authentic flavors and craftsmanship of the Municipality of Malay.
