Miss World Philippines-Western Visayas to hold screening in Kalibo

KALIBO, Aklan—The official Miss World Philippines-Western Visayas is holding a screening for the Aklan leg of next year’s pageant.

Mary Jane Valbuena-Mclelland, who co-organized the said screening, said the Aklan leg will be staged on September 27, 2023, at the Marzon Hotel.

“The qualifications are that a candidate must be 17–24 years of age, at least 5’4 in height, a Filipino, have never been married or borne a child, have a good moral character, and possess beauty and brains.

On September 24, McLelland also co-hosted the Miss World Western Visayas screening in Iloilo, held at the Richmond Hotel.

Meanwhile,on September 29, the screening of the Negros Occidental leg will be at the L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City.

“I invite interested ladies who want to become part of the Miss World-Philippines to participate in the screening,” Mclelland said.
