MOLD Manila Performs First Surgery in Its New Surgical Wing
The aesthetic clinic known for non-invasive facial and body treatments has opened a dedicated in-house surgical wing, beginning with an open structural rhinoplasty led by Dr. Donna Eramis on July 30, 2026.
MOLD Manila has successfully completed the first surgery inside its newly opened surgical wing, marking a significant milestone in the clinic’s continued growth. The inaugural procedure, an open structural rhinoplasty, was performed on July 30, 2026, by lead surgeon Dr. Donna Eramis, with Dr. Eric Tapang overseeing anesthesia. The opening of the surgical wing enables MOLD Manila to deliver both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments through a single, integrated patient experience.
Purpose-built within MOLD Manila’s Quezon City facility, the new surgical wing is designed for elective aesthetic procedures and includes dedicated consultation, pre-operative, operating, and recovery areas. Patients follow a structured surgical pathway that begins with an online or in-clinic consultation, followed by medical assessment, surgical clearance, scheduling, and post-operative follow-up.
The first procedure performed in the facility was an open structural rhinoplasty, a technique that uses a small incision across the columella—the strip of tissue between the nostrils—to provide direct visualization of the nasal framework. Unlike traditional reduction rhinoplasty, structural rhinoplasty emphasizes rebuilding and reinforcing the nose using cartilage grafts, helping preserve nasal function while creating long-term structural support and natural-looking aesthetic results.
The procedure was carried out by a complete surgical team. Under the care of Dr. Eric Tapang, the patient underwent comprehensive pre-operative assessment, continuous monitoring throughout the procedure, and supervised recovery prior to discharge. The same standardized protocol is followed for every surgical patient to support safety and quality of care.
“Opening our own surgical wing allows us to provide a more seamless experience for our patients from consultation to recovery,” said Dr. Donna Eramis, lead surgeon at MOLD Manila. “Beginning with an open structural rhinoplasty reflects the level of precision and surgical excellence we aim to deliver in every procedure.”
The addition of the surgical wing expands MOLD Manila’s existing aesthetic services by allowing procedures to be performed within its own facility. Patients can now complete consultations, surgery, recovery, and follow-up care under the supervision of the same medical team, providing greater continuity throughout their treatment journey.
“MOLD Manila has always been committed to delivering safe, evidence-based aesthetic care,” said Adrielle Costales, Founder and CEO of MOLD Manila. “Opening our own surgical facility is a natural progression that allows us to support patients whose goals require surgical treatment while maintaining the same standards of safety, quality, and personalized care that define our practice.”
All surgical patients undergo a comprehensive consultation and screening process to determine their suitability for surgery. Procedures are scheduled in accordance with MOLD Manila’s published surgical reservation, cancellation, and rescheduling policies, and patients receive structured pre-operative instructions and reminders to help them prepare for their procedure.
