Mountain Top Camping to Rise in Altavas, Aklan

Altavas, Aklan- To add more attractions to Altavas, a businessman and a local philanthropist has started construction of its Mountain Top Cabin and Camping Ground at Barangay Cabangila.

Albert Manalo, owner of the said resort on the rise said that he has already spent around P100,000 in the construction of the said camping grounds. Manalo has been considered a local philanthropist for his advocacy in responsible dog ownership and giving help to those in need.

He has also maintained scores of scholars, many of whom came from Altavas.

The said mountain top cabin is good not only for family and friends bonding but a good spot for fellowship as well. The camping ground atop the mountain is also the best experience during a full moon. 

Manalo said that most of the construction involved building up of bahay kubos at the site.

Aside from the Mountain Top Cabin, Manalo is also bent on putting up a dog cemetery in the said town.

“The Department of Health has already conducted inspection in the area. I am awaiting for their further advices,” he said.
