Revenge tourism is defined as those tourists wanting to go on vacation after a series of lockdowns brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Boracay is ready since residents and hotel workers here registered more than a hundredth percent vaccination rate against Covid-19. More than a hundredth percent because vaccinated workers coming from outside the Aklan province were hired by the hotels and various establishments here,” she said.
While in Boracay, tourists could avail free booster shots through a walk in at the Watson Pharmacy at the Citymall here.
Aklan Governor Florencio Miraflores that the province tracing QR Code System is also ready as the QR Code are now automatically computer generated for those tourists who present complete requirements.
According to John Christopher Villa, a manager of the Sugba de Boracay said that they are already preparing exotic foods that are favorites of foreign tourists especially Chinese and South Koreans.
