Haresco appointed anew as chair of economic affairs committee

KALIBO, Aklan- Aklan’s Second District Congressman Teodorico ‘Nonong’ Haresco Jr. has been re-appointed as chair of the influential economic affairs panel now under the President Bongbong Marcos administration.

It was announced by the Office of Congressman Haresco Tuesday night. Haresco was initially appointed by the lower house to lead the economic affairs committee last year, but due to leadership shake up in the House of Representatives, he was re-appointed as vice chair.

He was then instead replaced by AAMBIS-OWA Rep. Sharon Garino of Iloilo.

Haresco was appointed chair of the economic affairs in lower house on October 2020 before the Rigodon between former house speakers Alan Peter Cayetano and Speaker Lord Allan Velasco.
