Malay, Aklan – On April 8, 2025, law enforcement officers from the 2nd Aklan Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), in coordination with Malay Municipal Police Station (MPS), apprehended four individuals from San Jose, Romblon for violating Provincial Ordinance No. 05-032, commonly known as the One Entry, One Exit Policy of the Province of Aklan.
The operation, led by PLT MANUEL T ESTRADA, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL DONNEL P REGIS, Force Commander, resulted in the interception of a white motor banca with red markings which was illegally docked at Sitio Diniwid, Brgy. Balabag, Malay, Aklan—a non-designated entry/exit point.
The apprehending officers issued a citation ticket (No. 0029) to the violator, and the motor banca was impounded and is currently under the custody of the authorities for proper disposition.
The One Entry, One Exit Policy is enforced to maintain order, safety, and proper regulation of maritime traffic in Aklan. This ordinance prohibits unauthorized docking, berthing, or anchoring at non-designated entry/exit points. All boat operators are urged to follow proper port procedures and voyage permits.
Let us work together to keep our waters safe, orderly, and compliant with local regulations.
