Bread & Butter Bakeshop Ibajay Named Franchisee of the Year at 2026 Awards Night

Kalibo, Aklan — Bread and Butter Bakeshop Ibajay earned the highest distinction at the 2026 Franchise Night and Awarding Ceremony held on February 27 at the Ati‑Atihan Festival Hotel. The annual celebration gathered franchise owners, store supervisors, and partners from across the region for an evening dedicated to recognizing operational excellence and dedicated service.

The prestigious Franchisee of the Year Award was presented to Bread and Butter Bakeshop – Ibajay, owned by Engr. Nelson Mainit, who was honored for exemplary leadership, superior store management, and consistency in product and service quality. The Ibajay branch also received the Best Franchise Store Award, reinforcing its reputation as a top performer within the entire network.

This year’s awarding ceremony was led by Dr. Cynthia C. dela Cruz, Chairman of Prime Bread & Butter Bakeshop, together with Atty. Euridice L. Tupas-Cudiamat, President of the company. Their presence emphasized the brand’s commitment to recognizing excellence and strengthening partnerships across all franchise locations. The program was hosted by Mark Reyes, Señior Operations Manager, who highlighted the achievements and milestones of each awardee throughout the night.

For 2025, several stores were recognized as Best Performing Stores, including Bread and Butter Bakeshop D’Talipapa Boracay, Ibajay, San Jose 1, Pandan, Sibalom, Caticlan, Libacao, D’Mall Boracay, Bugasong and Jordan. Under the Improved Performance for 2025, awardees included Bread and Butter Bakeshop Makato, Culasi, Ibajay, Caticlan, Sibalom and Bugasong, all of which demonstrated notable progress in operational and market performance.

The Loyalty Award for Long-Term Business Partners was presented to Ms. Grace T. Nacnac, Engr. Roger Macabate, Mr. Christian Andaya, Dr. Earl Autajay, Engr. George Bactol, and Dr. Carlan Elisterio, honoring their enduring trust and partnership with the brand.

The Outstanding Store Supervisor Award was given to five distinguished leaders—Ms. Lyn Joy A. Pedro, Ms. Glenn M. Delos Reyes, Ms. Cecilia R. Flores, Mr.Evenizer S. Barrientos III, and Ms. Maria Tuna A. Dangdang—who were celebrated for their commitment to operational excellence and outstanding daily store management.

Prime Bread & Butter Bakeshop also announced that it is open for franchising in all provinces across Western Visayas, Mindoro, and Romblon, inviting new entrepreneurs to join its growing community of successful franchise partners.
