The Philippines Strengthens Travel Ties to China

Published

on

The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines successfully concluded the Philippine China Travel Exchange (PHILCHITEX) held from June 24 to 27. The event reinforced partnerships with tourism stakeholders and restored Chinese travel confidence in the Philippines, building on the country’s 14-day visa-free program.

The event brought together 30 Chinese delegates and Philippine sellers for a business-to-business networking session in Parañaque City, creating new opportunities for collaboration and business growth.

The Chinese buyers then connected with regional sellers and explored the country’s diverse tourism offerings in Boracay and Cebu through immersive familiarization tours.
