KALIBO, Aklan- For the second consecutive year, the Movement of Gratitude shared the joy of Halloween through simple acts of kindness and sweet treats.

Halloween is often associated with costumes, trick-or-treating, and festive celebrations, but not every child gets the chance to take part. Hoping to bring a little of that magic to them, the Movement held the second edition of its Magic Giving (Halloween Special) on October 29, 2026 at the Kalibo Pastrana Park near the childrenโ€™s playground.

With no costumes or elaborate preparations needed, the activity centered on the simple joy of giving. Children received candies, biscuits, drinks, and activity sheets, allowing them to experience the excitement of Halloween in their own little way.

At the heart of Magic Giving is the belief that even the smallest gestures can make a difference. What may seem like a simple treat can bring a child a moment of happiness and a sense of being included in the seasonโ€™s festivities. The childrenโ€™s smiles served as a beautiful reminder that Halloween magic can be found in the joy of giving and receiving wholeheartedly.

The Movement expressed its heartfelt appreciation to its donors, members, and new volunteers whose generosity and efforts made the annual activity possible. Their collective support helped bring the celebration to life and share the spirit of Halloween with the children.

As the initiative continues for another year, the Movement hopes to reach more children and create more meaningful moments in the years ahead. Through Magic Giving, it demonstrates that generosity need not be grand to make a difference; sometimes, the sweetest part of Halloween is not the candy itself, but the kindness that comes with it.
