The Anam Mui Ne Takes Flight with New Windswept Adrenaline Experience

MUI NE, Vietnam – Scores of colourful kites dancing above the sea provide the backdrop for a new seasonal adventure unveiled by luxury resort The Anam Mui Ne.

“The Anam Windswept Adrenaline Tour” combines a coastal Jeep safari with a private kite workshop, an expert freestyle demonstration and a sunset picnic by the sea, affording guests the chance to experience the winds that have made Mui Ne a magnet for kitesurfers from around the world.

Taking place from November through March, the tour makes the most of the strong, consistent winds brought by the Northeast Monsoon, which have helped establish Mui Ne as one of Asia’s leading kitesurfing destinations.

The half-day adventure departs The Anam Mui Ne at 1pm aboard a private Jeep, travelling along the coast to Hon Rom Beach, where guests can take in and photograph the spectacle of kitesurfers riding the waves beneath a sky filled with colourful sails.

At Ca Ty Beach, certified instructors lead guests through a private 60-minute “Wind Mastery” workshop using trainer kites on land. The session offers an introduction to kitesurfing without having to venture onto the water.

The instructors then put on a freestyle demonstration, showing guests what the kites are capable of in expert hands.

As the afternoon’s adrenaline subsides, a private “Wind-Down” picnic is set up on the beach for guests as the sun sets, before returning to The Anam Mui Ne at 6pm.

“There are times of year when you look out across Mui Ne and the sky seems to come alive with hundreds of colourful kites. It is an extraordinary sight and one of the experiences that defines our destination,” said The Anam Mui Ne’s Resort Manager Peter Ye.

You don’t need any kitesurfing experience to take part, and that’s what makes the tour so appealing.
