Bread & Butter Bakeshop Nurtures Young Minds at Makato Integrated School

MAKATO, Aklan — Prime Bread & Butter Bakeshop turned a regular school day into a festive celebration of health and sustainability as it joined the Philippines’ Nutrition Month 2026 at Makato Integrated School.

The bakeshop, known for its quality baked goods and community-centered advocacy, spent a meaningful day with kindergarten pupils, promoting healthy eating habits and environmental consciousness among the young learners.

Aligned with this year’s theme, “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan,” the activity aimed to instill in children the importance of making nutritious food choices while caring for the environment. Through fun and engaging sessions, the pupils learned that small, mindful habits today can lead to a healthier and more sustainable tomorrow.
