Bread & Butter Recognized by DepEd for Shaping Industry-Ready Graduates

MALINAO, AKLAN —Prime Bread and Butter Bakeshop Corporation was recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Office VI as one of the industry partners supporting the Work Immersion Program in Aklan, highlighting the company’s continuing commitment to providing Senior High School students with meaningful workplace exposure and industry-based learning.

The Plaque of Recognition was received by Bread & Butter President Atty. Euridice L. Tupas-Cudiamat during the Regional Work Immersion Fair held at the Malinao School for Philippine Craftsmen (MSPC). Headed by Cristito A. Eco, CESO III  and Regional Director, the fair brought together 132 DepEd School Heads from Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo City, Iloilo Province, and Passi City, together with representatives from various business establishments and organizations.

The recognition reflects Bread & Butter’s sustained partnership with DepEd in providing students opportunities to experience actual workplace environments while completing their Senior High School education.

Through its retail stores and manufacturing operations, Bread & Butter has continuously welcomed immersion students and provided opportunities for them to observe and participate in appropriate workplace activities under the guidance of company key employees.

Bread & Butter recognizes the important role of industry in helping schools prepare students for employment and future professional development. Through this partnership, students are given the opportunity to develop both technical competencies and essential workplace values such as responsibility, punctuality, professionalism, adaptability, teamwork, and respect for established standards.
