Kiwanis Club of Kalibo Ati-Atihan and Partners Bring Joy to Children of Barangay Badiangan, Banga

Banga, Aklan – The Kiwanis Club of Kalibo Ati-Atihan, an international service organization under Kiwanis International, together with its partners Bread & Butter Cares Program, Aklan Food Chain Credit Cooperative, and the Barangay Badiangan Council, successfully held a community outreach program for children in Barangay Badiangan, Banga, Aklan.

The activity was made possible through the leadership and support of Barangay Captain Ledwin Rosello, generous sponsors from Pepsi, Selecta, and the kindness of private donors who share the commitment of serving children. Dozens of young participants enjoyed a day filled with food, treats, and fun activities—bringing smiles, hope, and encouragement to families in the community.

A Partnership for Children’s Future

This initiative reflects the core mission of Kiwanis: “Serving the Children of the World.” With the collaboration of local cooperatives, business partners, and civic-minded individuals, the outreach program demonstrated the power of collective action to address the needs of children and provide them with joy and support.

The Bread & Butter Cares Program, the CSR arm of Bread & Butter Bakeshop, alongside the Aklan Food Chain Credit Cooperative, extended resources and volunteer support to ensure that the activity reached as many children as possible.

The Kiwanis Club of Kalibo Ati-Atihan has served Aklan communities for over two decades, championing projects on child welfare, health, and education. This latest effort in Badiangan is a call to action for more sponsors, partners, and volunteers to take part in sustaining these children-centered programs.

“Every child deserves opportunities for growth, joy, and a brighter tomorrow. Through small acts of kindness and consistent support, we can shape stronger communities for future generations,” the Club emphasized.
