Antipolo welcomes Mia Librojo in a ‘homecoming’ performance
Antipolo City- Mia Librojo (Mia Khrystin Justimbaste Librojo), a Filipina-Irish composer and singer, has recently received a warm welcome from the city government of Antipolo. She was also asked to perform on stage during a Christmas event at the plaza.
Before her smooth performance, Librojo met with City Mayor Casimiro “Jun” A. Ynares III and Vice Mayor Rudy Puno. Puno described Mia as a potential follower in the footsteps of Canadian rock star Avril Lavigne.
It was gathered that Mia, together with her parents, is in the Philippines for a short Christmas vacation.
Already, these are among the achievements of Mia.
-The Clash of the Newbreeds: She placed third in the Grand Finals of this competition held in Belfast, Northern Ireland (around 2022).
-TeenStar UK: In 2020, she was a grand finalist in the TeenStar UK competition. While she did not win the overall title, she was awarded a Recording Time Session with producers in London, becoming the first Filipina to receive that specific recognition.
-Original Compositions: She is a composer known for original songs in the Pop Rock genre, including:”He’s in a Band””Love Sick”
