PDEA Renews Memorandum of Agreement with Philippine Chinese Charitable Association

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine Charitable Association, Inc. (PCCAI) renewed a Memorandum of Agreement that will provide medical attention including surgery and major operations for PDEA personnel who were injured while in the line of duty.
The event was held on February 22, 2022 at the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center, Medical Arts Building in Manila with main signatories PDEA Director General Wilkins M Villanueva, MPA, CESE and Mr. Antonio Tan, Chairman of the Board of the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center.
DG Villanueva also extended his gratitude to Dr. James G. Dy, Honorary Chairman and President of the Philippine-Chinese Charitable Association Incorporated and owner of the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center for accomodating the needs and concerns of the Agency.
Present during the signing were PDEA Service Directors and PCCAI officials.
“Today’s renewal of agreement between PDEA and the PCCAI shows tremendous support, cooperation and contribution to the Agency and its workforce. The assistance is a constant morale booster for PDEA agents who face danger every day”, Villanueva said.
