A touch of an Aklanon marks the success of Palarong Pambansa 2025

New Washington, Aklan- The ‘Palarong Pambansa’ may have ended, but one Aklanon-owned company stands proud as it makes history by becoming part of it.

New Washington Mayor Jessica Panambo posted on her Facebook page that her Phil-Asia Steel Pole Corporation stands as a witness to the glory and pain of hundreds of athletes joining the prestigious event.

The 2025 Palarong Pambansa, officially known as the 65th Palarong Pambansa, was a multi-sport event held in Laoag, Ilocos Norte in 2025. Student-athletes from 20 athletic associations consisting the 17 regions of the Philippines, the National Academy of Sports, and the Philippine Schools Overseas competed in different sporting events and disciplines. It started May 24 and culminated May 31.

” PHIL-ASIA’s quality FLAGPOLE has been chosen to proudly display the National Flag at the PALARONG PAMBANSA 2025 held at Marcos Stadium in Laoag, Ilocos Norte. Our Flagpole embodies the spirit of excellence, unity, and patriotism that defines this prestigious event,” Panambo said, whose family is a major stockholder.
