Known as the “Mother of all Philippine Festivals,” the Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival is set to return this year with an exciting set of activities for the locals and tourists. One of the highlights will be the Kalibo Ati-Atihan Product Expo 2023, organized by the Local Government Unit of Kalibo together with the Department of Trade and Industry – Aklan Provincial Office at Citymall Kalibo from January 9 to 16, 2023.
The trade fair will feature newly developed items highlighting the best of Aklanโs famous abaca, piรฑa, and raffia fibers, bamboo, nito, wood, and red clay combined with other indigenous materials, along with the best-known food products like longganisa, chorizo, bread and pastries, and many more.
It aims to promote our globally competitive products made by our homegrown entrepreneurs to potential buyers and guests during the festival season.
An opening program will be held on January 9, 2022, at 2 p.m., which will be attended by the LGU, buyers, exhibitors, and other special guests. Further, a fashion show will be staged by the Aklan Fashion Designers Association (AFDA) to showcase their elegant ensemble in celebration of the Ati-Atihan festival.
The project is in partnership with the Provincial Government of Aklan, Hugod Aklanon Producers Association, Inc., Aklan Fashion Designers Association, and Citymall Kalibo.
