Based on its latest DROMIC report as of October 31, DSWD6 reported a total stockpile value of ₱85,418,763.94, consisting of both food and non-food relief items. A total of 89,955 Family Food Packs (FFPs) and 3,118 Ready-to-Eat Food (RTEF) items are available for immediate distribution.

To ensure immediate disaster response, DSWD6 has activated its regional, provincial, and local Quick Response Teams (QRTs), ready for deployment across the five provinces in the region. Meanwhile, 505 city and municipal QRT members are on alert in 101 LGUs.
The agency has 41 trained medical responders and one medical officer on standby across various areas, alongside a skeletal workforce on-call to manage the Regional Emergency Operations Center.
QRTs have been instructed to monitor areas with high foot traffic, particularly cemeteries, for potential incident response. Coordination with provincial, city, and municipal LGUs has been strengthened to facilitate the timely reporting of emergencies.
Response vehicles are also ready for transport and delivery operations, including the DSWD Mobile Command Center, Mobile Kitchen, several 4×4 pickup trucks and AUVs, and three ambulances prepositioned at regional centers for emergency use.
To ensure effective operations during Undas, the field office continues weather monitoring in coordination with the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), maintaining the BLUE alert status of the Regional Emergency Operations Center.
DSWD’s proactive measures highlight the agency’s commitment to ensuring public safety and swift disaster response, especially during large-scale gatherings and peak travel periods in observance of Undas in Western Visayas./jam
