Boracay Island- Boracay, the Philippines’ crown jewel of tourism, welcomes a new wave of travelers from Russia with the launch of direct charter flights from Irkutsk and Khabarovsk to Kalibo International Airport via IrAero Airlines. The service began in October 2025 and operates twice weekly, every Tuesday and Saturday, according to Travel and Tour World.

IrAero Airlines, known for catering to Russia’s domestic and international leisure market, operates the Sukhoi Superjet 100 on this routeβ€”offering passengers a comfortable and efficient journey from the snowy cities of Siberia and the Russian Far East straight to the powder-white sands of Boracay.

The new connection is expected to open opportunities for high-end travelers seeking a tropical winter getaway, strengthening Boracay’s position as a global destination. The route also diversifies the island’s visitor base, complementing the strong markets from Korea, China, and other North Asian countries.

Supported by both Russian tourism initiatives and local Philippine stakeholders, this milestone highlights renewed global confidence in Boracay’s world-class appeal. With direct access now available, the island is set to shine even brighter on the map of luxury travel β€” where the warmth of Filipino hospitality meets the beauty of a true paradise.
