Former flag bearer returns to Paquiao to promote his campaign

BORACAY Island- A former flag bearer of Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao has returned to his side to promote his presidency.

In an interview, Crisostomo Aquino said that he served as a flag bearer of Pacquiao in 2004. He retired in 2012 to focus on his business.

“I have been a businessman since then. I have been accompanying Pacquiao on his earlier bouts. Since there was no flag bearer then he asked me to do the job and I have done it willingly for the country,” he said.

Even if he has retired, he decided to help Pacquiao again to promote his presidency.

“As his former flag bearer, I personally knew Pacquiao to be helping many Filipinos especially those who are poor. I know that Pacquiao is sincere to his dream of becoming the president of the country,” Aquino said.
