Senator Alan Peter Cayetano introduced his own version of the “4Ps”—Position, Prayer, Principle, and Preparation—as key elements in achieving one’s destiny.

Speaking in the heart of Hong Kong for another episode of “CIA 365 with Kuya Alan,” he started with the first “P” – Positioning oneself correctly in life.

“Positioning is very important. Kung ano man ang tingin natin na destiny natin, magpo-position ka,” he said. Next, Kuya Alan highlighted the significance of Prayer, which he emphasized is not a one-way street but a two-way connection with God.

He shared an insight from evangelist and minister Dr. Myles Munroe who explained that while many see prayer as simply talking to God, it is also about listening.

“Prayer is a two-way street. Kung naniniwala tayo that God is our creator, our manufacturer, then kinakausap natin Siya. Just because we do not hear God the same way we hear our parents, best friends, or teachers, hindi ibig sabihin natutulog ang Diyos,” he said.

The third “P” is Principles. Kuya Alan stressed that while people can debate opinions, principles remain non-negotiable. “Another word for principles is laws. You cannot debate on principles. You cannot argue with those rules,” he said. Finally, he stressed the importance of Preparation, urging his viewers to be patient and trust what God has planned for them.

He also encouraged them to apply these four principles in their lives to achieve their goals and fulfill their purpose. “How do we get to our God-given destination?

Preparation, Prayer, do your action based on Principles — not on debatable opinions, or kung ano uso, or kung ano ang mas gusto ng majority. Kailangan, it’s based on principles or laws. And then, Prayer,” he said.

“CIA 365 with Kuya Alan,” was launched earlier this year as a platform to share practical insights and reflections, inspiring Filipinos to lead better and more meaningful lives.
