𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐧, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 – The Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group (PNP AVSEGROUP), in close coordination with the Bureau of Immigration (BI), successfully apprehended a 42-year-old female Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) upon her arrival at Iloilo International Airport, following the identification of an active warrant of arrest for the crime of Estafa.

The individual, a resident of Dumalag, Capiz, arrived from Singapore and was flagged by immigration authorities during standard inspection procedures. Based on existing alert protocols, Bureau of Immigration personnel detected an active warrant of arrest issued by a Regional Trial Court in Capiz. Prompt coordination between immigration officers and the Iloilo Airport Police Station ensured the swift validation of the warrant.

Upon confirmation that the warrant remained active, and no bail had been posted, the subject was placed under arrest. She was escorted for a routine medical examination at Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital and was later turned over to the Cabatuan Municipal Police Station for booking and temporary custody.
