KALIBO, Aklan- In celebration of the Kalibo Señor Sto. Niño Ati-Atihan Festival 2026, the Local Government Unit of Kalibo (LGU Kalibo) through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry – Aklan (DTI-Aklan), Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival Board (KAFEB) and Citymall Kalibo, will stage the Kalibo Ati-Atihan Product Expo 2026 on January 1221, 2025 at Citymall Kalibo.
The 10-day marketing activity aims to promote local ingenuity by highlighting Aklanon micro, small, and medium enterprises’ (MSMEs’) products—both for the food and non-food industries. This will include many all-time favorite snacks and pasalubong items, fashion accessories, footwear, homestyle decorations, souvenir items and the world-renowned Aklan piña.
A total of 65 MSMEs will be joining in this activity from Kalibo, Aklan and other municipalities in the province.
“This marketing activity in celebration of the Kalibo Señor Sto. Niño Ati-Atihan Festival, more than being an annual trade fair, is an exhibit of the Aklanon MSMEs’ craftsmanship and continued innovation over the years. We are always looking forward to the new and improved products that will be showcased because they represent the vibrant culture and story of the province of Aklan,” says DTI-Aklan Provincial Director Romel L. Amihan, on what to expect during the upcoming KAPE 2026.
An Opening Program will be held on January 12, 2026 at 10:00 in the morning which will be attended by LGU Kalibo officials, invited buyers, exhibitors and other special guests.
