SSS Visayas West 2 Reaffirms Support for MSME’s in Iloilo

ILOILO CITY – The Social Security System (SSS) Visayas West 2 Division reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the country’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by actively participating in the Iloilo City MSME Summit 2026 held on July 29.
Leading the agency’s participation was SSS Visayas West 2 Vice President Angelo O. Blancaver, who joined the ceremonial signing of support for MSMEs, symbolizing the agency’s continuing partnership with the local business sector and its commitment to promoting social security protection among entrepreneurs and their employees.
As part of its services during the summit, the SSS also established a dedicated helpdesk at the venue to provide participants with assistance on membership registration, contribution inquiries, benefit claims, and other social security concerns. The helpdesk enabled business owners, employees, and aspiring entrepreneurs to access SSS services conveniently while attending the event.
The participation of SSS in the MSME Summit underscores the agency’s role in supporting the growth and sustainability of small businesses by ensuring that employers and workers are covered under the country’s social security program.
Through initiatives such as these, the SSS Visayas West 2 Division continues to strengthen its partnership with the business community, encouraging greater social protection and helping build a more resilient and inclusive economy in Iloilo and the rest of Western Visayas.
