Blue Heart Campaign Against Human Trafficking in Aklan

Kalibo, Aklan- A SERIES of activities was held in different municipalities of Aklan province in support of the global Blue Heart Campaign against human trafficking.

The 4Ps Aklan Provincial Operations Office of the DSWD 6, represented by the towns of Batan, Malay, and Nabas, joined forces with their respective Local Government Units to celebrate the National Anti-Trafficking in Persons Month in a separate event last month.

Standing firm in the movement to protect vulnerable families and uphold human dignity, the gathering brought together key partner agencies, local stakeholders, dedicated 4Ps field staff, and empowered parent leaders to strengthen community safeguards against exploitation and abuse.

Capping off the event, participants sealed their shared dedication through a ceremonial signing of the Pledge of Commitment, reaffirming a proactive and united front to eradicate human trafficking across the province.
