Aklan PPO Fetes SP Tejada

On October 22, 2022, Senior SP Member Jay E. Tejada was recognized by the Aklan Provincial Police Office (Aklan PPO) headed by Provincial Director PCol. Crisaleo R. Tolentino for his commitment and support as an active partner of the agency in its PNP Report To The People program during an activity at the Camp Pastor Martelino, New Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan.

The “PNP Report To The People” is an initiative by the Aklan PPO in delivering effective public service through proactive media information. This program is regularly aired via Aklan Cable TV and Paradise Cable TV Network every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:00 AM. The program’s success earned the 1st Place award in the Battle of Best Emerging Best Practice conducted by the Regional Police Strategy Management Unit 6 on September 23, 2022 at the Police Regional Office 6 in Iloilo City.

Tejada has long been an active partner of the Aklan PPO for the PNP Report To The People since 2 years ago where he regularly discusses various municipal and provincial legislative enactments for the benefit of the general public.

When asked for his reaction to the recognition given by the Aklan PPO, SP Tejada expressed his appreciation to the award and stressed that he was moved by the gesture of the Aklan PPO for recognizing the contributions of the Aklan Sangguniang Panlalawigan in the implementation of law enforcement in the community level through formulation and approval of provincial enactments including the review of resolutions and ordinances approved by the seventeen (17) component municipalities of Aklan.

“I’m very overwhelmed of the Aklan Provincial Police Office’s recognition of the contributions of the SP to law enforcement in the community level through the formulation and approval of provincial enactments and review of peace and order related municipal enactments,” Tejada said.
