American to Showcase Beauty of Boracay in New York Photo Exhibit

Boracay Island- An American photographer known for his photos of celebrities and socialites in New York will be showcasing an Underwater photo exhibit at the Philippine Cultural Center in New York City on April 20, 2026

Rob Rich told the Boracay Island News Network that his underwater photography in the Philippines featuring photos from his travels in Boracay, Puerto Galera, Coron Island, and other diving locations.

Rich has been documenting the underwater world of the Philippines for 14 years as a freelance photographer. He documents events both in New York City especially in the Hamptons.

Among those on his personal portfolio on photography were celebrities like Jon Bon Jovi, Lady Gaga, Madonna, President Donald Trump and many more.

 

“For years, I traveled around the world for a vacation and when I came to the Philippines, I fell in love with its beauty and the hospitality of the people. So, I come here yearly, and always love coming back to places that I have visited before, especially Boracay,” said Rich who posesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology.

Because he fell in love with the Philippines, he said he had developed a dream to hold a photo exhibit where he could showcase the beauty of the marine biodiversity in the Philippines in the US. He is thankful to the Philippine Cultural Center in New for granting his requests.

“This is my way to contribute to the tourism industry of the Philippines and hope through my photographs, there will be more Americans coming to the country to enjoy the Philippine culture, hospitality, and rich underwater sea life “ Rich added.
