
Iloilo City- The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VI is set to uplift the lives of more program participants in 2026 through the provision of funding, as well as by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and support for sustainable livelihoods.
During the year-starter meeting of the SLP Regional Program Management Office, the 2026 targets were discussed, including target beneficiaries and financial allocations. The meeting also covered the program implementation plan, the status of social preparation activities, the calendar of activities, and directions and concerns related to the Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) program.
The meeting was attended by DSWD6 Assistant Regional Director for Operations Katherine Joy M. Lamprea, Promotive Services Division OIC-Chief Judith T. Barredo, SLP Regional Program Coordinator Juliet D. Besa, members of the Regional Program Management Team, and Provincial Coordinators together with their Provincial Monitoring and Evaluation Officers.
With the guidance and alignment established during the meeting, DSWD6 SLP is ready to implement more livelihood projects this year, uplifting more lives and strengthening sustainable livelihoods across the region./dswd6/cdf
