GENERAL SANTOS CITY โ€” The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) inaugurated its new Digital Business Center (DBC) today, offering members at its General Santos Branch Office a faster alternative to counter services.

The DBC provides tablets equipped with the GSIS Mobile Touch App, allowing more than 46,000 active members and 11,000 pensioners across General Santos, Sultan Kudarat (including Takurong city), South Cotabato (including Koronadal city), and Sarangani to process their transactions without waiting in line.

“The Digital Business Center transforms how we serve our members,” GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso said. “Instead of queuing at our service counters, members can now use our tablets to access their accounts and complete transactions through the GSIS Mobile Touch App.”

The center offers a comfortable space where members can process loans, check their status and balance, view their records, and handle other transactions that would typically require counter service. Trained GSIS staff are available to assist members who need guidance in using the digital platform. The DBC serves 334 government agencies in the region, providing a quick and convenient option for members to handle their GSIS transactions.

“This digital service point reflects our commitment to reduce wait times and improve our members’ experience,” Veloso added. “We are making GSIS services more accessible one touch at a time.”

The GSIS Digital Business Center operates during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. PGM Veloso was joined by Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao and Councilor Lourdes ‘Lulu’ Casabuena at the inauguration.
