Ego is human nature innate to everyone. One’s ego differs from the other only when it comes to ego management.
Ego plays a critical part in today’s everydaylife battles. Looking at the patterns on how, for instance, a triggered decision maker deliver judgment, we cannot get support if the support we need is demanded in the form of aggression rather of showing humility in exchange of our favors.
In psychology of people in authority, having the superiority complex in mind being in the position, they have biases and discrimination with entities under their level. They couldn’t be demanded for a decision that they think they have a power over.
Criticism in the form of self-expression is different from lobbying for a certain agenda. Criticism’s intention is to present an idea for the hope that the decision maker realizes the points to consider – where as in lobbying, a decision is directly asked to favor what is being lobbied for.
In that case, how can it be granted when the manner to get a support is demanded in an aggressive form?
I tell you, ego of the person can be your greatest enemy…not the decision maker himself. Better be careful to practice humility, open path for a possible alliances for a cause…than your action tell them how stupid and crook they are.
I’ve been to this cycle, the reason I changed strategy to get what I want.
Peace shines the brightest in the dark. Offer them on gloomy days.
