
The Malay PNP under the direction of PLTCOL DON DICKSIE L DE DIOS, Chief of Police, nabbed four (4) Wanted Persons during two (2) separate manhunt operations at Bgy. Manocmanoc and Bgy. Balabag, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan.
On the afternoon of June 29, 2022, three (3) fugitives were arrested in violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602 Prescribing Stiffer Penalties on Illegal Gambling at Bgy. Manocmanoc, Malay, Aklan.
The Malay Operatives were armed with a warrant of arrest with CC number 2302-M with a bail bond fixed to Php 30,000.00 for each accused, signed by HON. CLEO MARIE E SANTILLAN, Presiding Judge of 5th Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Malay-Buruanga, Buruanga, Aklan, dated June 29, 2022.
Meanwhile, another separate manhunt operation was launched on the same day that resulted in the arrest of one (1) fugitive at Bgy. Balabag, Malay, Aklan. The accused has a warrant of arrest for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness (RPC Art. 336) with CC number 2297-M with a bail bond fixed to Php 36,000.00, signed and issued by HON. CLEO MARIE E SANTILLAN,

PLTCOL DE DIOS commends his operatives for the successful manhunt operations against wanted persons to bring these offenders to the folds of justice.
He also assures the public that the Malay PNP will not allow Boracay Island to be a haven for those running from justice.

The fugitives were taken into police custody pending the issuance of a commitment order and return of the warrants of arrest to the court.
