Haresco confident BBM will not neglect Aklan province

DUMATAD, Tangalan, Aklan- Second District Congressman Teodorico Haresco said he is confident that presumptive president Ferdinand ‘BongBong’ Marcos Jr. will not neglect the welfare of the Akeanons once he seats as the 17th president of the Republic.

In a press conference here, Haresco said that in the entire Western Visayas region, only Aklan has voted for BBM ahead of his strongest opponent Vice President Leni Robredo.

According to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), BBM gathered 146, 323 votes compared to VP Robredo which has garnered 146, 284. A margin of 39 votes difference.

“I am thankful to the people of Aklan especially in Kalibo and Malay, Aklan for really supporting the presidency of BBM. BBM was my colleague in the Congress,” he said.

Among Haresco’s wishlist for BBM includes health, infrastructure, tourism and education.
