The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is advising all government agencies with insured assets and properties to immediately report any damage caused by Typhoons Crising, Dante, and Emong.
To speed up assistance, agencies are asked to prepare their policy details and reach out to the nearest GSIS branch or extension office. A full list of contact details can be found on the GSIS website (www.gsis.gov.ph).
As the government’s official insurer, GSIS provides coverage for all government-owned assets, including buildings, vehicles, equipment and other properties. It offers a range of non-life insurance products for institutions such as fire, motor vehicle, engineering and accident insurance, as well as optional protection plans for individual members, pensioners and their families.
GSIS also issues compulsory third party liability (CTPL) insurance and covers government-linked projects or ventures where public funds or interests are involved.
“We are ready to help agencies recover and get back on track. Your safety and protection remain our priority,” GSIS Officer in Charge Juliet Bautista said.
