Kalibo SB exceeds performance target

KALIBO, Aklan- Despite being at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the legislative function of the Kalibo Sangguniang Bayan Performance in the fiscal year 2021 is considered unprecedented.

The SB is being headed by Vice Mayor Cynthia Dela Cruz with the support of all the councilors. The members of the Kalibo Sangguniang Bayan include Mark Vega Quimpo, Mark Ace Bautista, Phillip Yerro-Kimpo, Daisy Briones, Ketchie Luces, Buen Joy Villanueva-French and Augusto Tolentino.

Also included in the SB roll were Ronald Marte as chair of the Liga ng Barangay and Romylene Joy Flores who both chairs the municipal Sangguniang Kabataan Federation.

Based on the legislative records, the Kalibo SB has conducted an over all 57 sessions despite their 48 targets. Of the said number, 45 were special sessions while 12 were special. Many of the sessions were conducted through Zoom meetings. On the number of ordinances, despite the eight targets, the Kalibo SB has enacted 29 ordinances for the calendar year 2021.

In the number of resolutions for the 150 target, the members of the Kalibo SB reached 355 resolutions filed. The Kalibo SB also conducted 45 meetings/hearings out of the 32 targets.

Also, the Kalibo SB processed 370 tricycle franchises out of the 270 targets.
