Legarda brings Gonzaga sisters for a concert as early Christmas gift to Antiquenos

Sibalom, Antique- Senator Loren Legarda, in partnership with the Office of Congressman Antonio “AA” Legarda Jr and the University of Antique (UA) -Sibalom Campus, has successfully hosted a night of entertainment and musical experience which featured celebrity sisters Toni and Alex Gonzaga “entitled Toni kag Alex sa Antique: Maaga nga Pamaskua halin kay Senator Inday kag Cong. AA Legarda.’

Around 4,000 residents, local government unit leaders and civil society groups participated in the free concert held September 7 at the Unviersity of Antique-Sibalom Campus.

 

Senator Legarda said she tapped the artistry and musicality of the Gonzaga sisters to bring joy and laughter to all her constituents in the Province of Antique citing both artists’ professionalism and expertise in bringing a memorable concert experience of Antiquenos.

 

“Toni and Alex are no strangers to show business. They were able to seal themselves as two of the most sought-after artists in the industry, and we believe in their ability to put on a good show to our people. This is also timely, of course, to showcase the beauty of Antique, since they can serve as good and invite our countrymen to visit and experience what the province has to offer,” said the lady senator.

Dr. Pablo Crespo Jr, president of the UA, expressed his gratitude to Senator Legarda for bringing top-notch artists to the university.He said that this has been a nice treat especially for students amidst the school work this academic year.

“I am glad Senator Legarda chose our campus as the venue for this exciting concert,” Dr. Crespo Jr stated.
